So yesterday I go to Hot Topic at Short pump mall. I am wearing jeans and a tshirt that says 'I got an "A" in Anatomy.' I have my peircings in. The cart, and the two lobes. I am wearing vans. Now. I am there browsing when a woman and her friend turn to me and asks:


"Okay so we are getting our friend a birthday gift. She is a hot angry lesbian who loves to wear arm bands" (we were in the armbands section)

Thinking that they were just trying to ask a younger persons opinion, I look and see what they are holding: A rainbow armband. I look to them and say "Well first of all, she probably already has one of these. Personally I would go for the pirates and ninjas thing and see if she likes anime."

They ask, "Well how can we do that?" So I think up a GENIOUS idea "Call her up and ask her! Tell her you are taking a myspace survey and you aren't really sure what to pick: Pirates or ninjas? Anime or Manga."

So they do it and get BOTH answers from her! I felt genious. But it doesn't end there. They ask "How long have you been working here?" I laugh and say "I don't" They were surprised.

So the lady who was working there was apparently standing behind me. So later when we go to buy the shit we got, the lady at the counter says, "You know, we are hiring seasonal in about three weeks. You should apply."

I am SO fuckign appling. The secoind job would not hurtl.. and i get a 40% discount! 

My experience in retail DID do something for me ^_^
